Fall Recipes
CharBOOterie
Looking to spice up this fall season? What says fall more than pumpkins and a treat?! In today's creation we are taking a small pumpkin and adding cheese. Head over to Trader Joes or your favorite store and don't forget your favorite cheeses. I'll list mine below:
- Mini pumpkins
- Unexpected cheddar cheese
- Spanish inspired charcuteria
- Spanish manzanilla olives with pimento paste
- Blueberries
- Sliced provolone cheese
- Mum or any flower
- Toothpicks
- Letter cut outs
Making this craft is easy and a great way to wow your guests!
- Head to the store, and don't forget your list!
- Grab a knife and cut about an inch from the stem all the way around the pumpkin to remove the top.
- Scoop out the guts and keep the seeds for roasting or adding to compost.
- Add blueberries to give your meat and cheese something to sit on.
- Cube cheese and add two pieces per skewer.
- Fold your meat and add to skewer, add an olive on top of toothpick.
- Add meat and cheese skewers to the pumpkin, leaving room to add prosciutto.
- Add prosciutto on side with room.
- Add flowers to gaps.
- To spell BOO grab your letter cut outs. Place one provolone slice on the counter and press into it with the B and O. Use a toothpick to gently get the letters.
- Arrange in front of pumpkin.
- Enjoy!
